I have been in the automotive industry since 1997. Starting for a brief time in sales then moving to fixed ops. While in the dealer business I worked everything from service to accounting. I spent a lot of time in the parts department and with warranty submission. I then spent time at another dealer as service manager, and then moved to the DMS side of the equation. I have spent the past 4 years with DMS provider. In the past few months I have been put in as one of the call center managers for the support center. Auto Dealer Improvements and myobsoleteparts.com are in no way affiliated with any DMS provider.

Back in August, Dallas and I were talking about issues that many dealers seem to face and decided to take in under our wing to develop cost effective solutions for handling problem areas like parts obsolescence. Myobsoleteparts.com will be undergoing changes to improve performance and increase features available to dealers. Auto Dealer Improvements also has in development an ecommerce solution for entire inventories. This solution will take a lot of the guessing out of running a web site. We will drive all the traffic and manage all the updates. All the dealer needs to do is upload the inventory.

Dallas Allen has over 14 years gm parts experience, which includes selling more than 1 million dollars in parts from 2002-2004. He is highly skilled in fixed operations and has real world experience.

James has had over 10 years of experience in the web development business. He specializes in Graphical and User Interaction Design. His past works have involved him in Marketing, E-commerce, Automotive, and the Web Analytic Industries. He has served as a Project Manager, QA Engineering, and Sr. Web Positions. James heads up the Web Development team at Auto Dealer Improvements.

I have over 10 years of experience in website design and development using many different technologies. My work has been used in creating software for the Automotive, Medical, Film, and E-commerce industries. This experience has been able to test my abilities in creating secure, stable and easy to use web based applications.

Doug began in career in the early 1970's working with ADP Dealer Services and has been in senior sales management positions and global account executive positions at GE, Ameritech, Baan, Xoriant and NIKU. He has also been involved in startups and IPOs. Doug’s expertise lies in developing strategic alliances and setting up global distribution channels. He is also a strong proponent of relationship selling and managing large strategic accounts. Doug has maintained strong business relationships with companies such as HP, Sun, Intel, and others. Doug earned his BA in Economics and Business Administration from Drury University. He has also completed the executive development programs at General Electric and Ameritech. He and his wife reside in Utah near their 4 kids and 8 grandkids.
